A bike is a well oiled machine, or at least it should be! When properly maintained, it requires less effort (so you can really ruffle your buddies' feathers by shaving minutes off your race time), handles better, and lasts longer (truly more bang for your buck). We will do tuneups on all bicycles regardless of whether your bike is brand-spankin'-new or comes in looking like the rusty swamp thing....
We also encourage you to ask who will be performing the tune-up or other work. Paul has personally trained all part-time mechanics so you can rest easy that, regardless of who is doing the tuneup, your bike is in good hands. Every bike has its quirks and at Anderson's, we understand the intricacies and nuances of your particular bike.
We have a goal of keeping your bike in tiptop shape (which will help keep you in tiptop shape). If you have a premium and expensive bike, or just one that is your favorite, we can put new life into it by replacing worn-out parts, performing a thorough tuneup, and, as Paul’s customers say, “a little bit of magic.” We use original equipment replacement parts when available; otherwise we ensure that the quality matches the original.
Call or stop in to schedule a private 2 hour class on any subject you are interested in from bike maintenance to tune ups to wheel building. You will be taught on a one student to one master mechanic ratio. Students are provided with a professional shop environment including tools and work stand - you only need to bring your bike. Class cost (two hour minimum block) $139.99, additional hours $60 each. You are welcome to bring one friend and split the cost!
